This policy applies to the current BreathPrint iOS prototype and to the launch list on the BreathPrint website. It will be revised before any public release.
This policy covers the BreathPrint iOS app in its current prototype form: chest-sound recording, local playback, and on-device breath analysis. It will be revised before any public release, and again before the planned clinician-referral feature ships, since that feature will introduce the first data flow off the device.
Everything stays on your device. Recordings and their index are stored in the app's local document storage. There is no server, cloud sync, or analytics SDK in the current build, and no recording ever leaves your phone.
A recording is kept until you delete it. Deleting a recording or a bundle removes the audio file and its index entry immediately and permanently. There is no separate backup copy.
Nothing is shared today. The planned clinician-referral feature will send a recording and its analysis to a physician only after you explicitly choose to share that specific recording. It is not built yet, and this policy will be updated with the details before it ships.
From inside the app you can play back, mark or unmark your baseline, and permanently delete any recording or bundle at any time. There is no account to manage and nothing to request from a server, because nothing leaves your device.
If you join the launch list on the BreathPrint website, you enter your email address in a Google Form. Your email address is the only information the form asks for. It is stored in Google Forms, and Google handles it under the Google Privacy Policy. We use it only to send you one email when BreathPrint is available on iPhone. To be removed from the list at any time, write to the address below.
If a minor uses this app, a parent or guardian should supervise recording sessions and the review of saved audio.
This policy is dated above. It will be revised before any public release, and whenever a new feature changes what data is collected or where it goes.
